Trauma Work

Oftentimes, trauma is like vines in the jungle, tripping us on our feet, tangling our lives, and keeping us from pushing our way out into the clearing.

Imagine being able to find your way through the maze of your life and taking control of your trauma to move towards a more productive narrative for your future. Imagine rising from the soil of your life, fresh and ready for a new start with empowerment to rebirth who you are meant to be.

Core Interventions

  • Taking the time to share your story is a healing part of the process. Understanding the narrative of your experience and expressing it through different lenses is healing in itself. This treatment simply focuses on allowing you to hear your own story and explore what it meant to you then and what it means to you now.

  • Sometimes we get stuck in narratives where they become chains or feedback loops that keep us from moving forward. This treatment allows you to rewrite your narrative from an empowering stance that allows you to dictate how the trauma impacts what you believe about yourself and your future.

  • This therapeutic technique helps you identify how your attachment experiences with caretakers have shaped your experiences in the present. Correcting maladaptive responses to unhealthy attachments creates space for positive change.

  • This is a creative method used in trauma therapy that helps you gain a better footing on your trauma through the process of properly containing it. Once contained, then you are able to address it piece by piece rather than face it all at once. Trauma is overwhelming when we try to look at it as a whole. Therapy allows you to face it piece by piece.
