Couples Counseling
Specializing in couples struggling to get things back on track or couples needing to build a new track…
We work with you to discover what aspects of the marriage or relationship are in need of repair, and we address them piece by piece. We utilize four key areas of relationship harmony for reference and assessment in helping couples to thrive:
Friendship (such as communication, partner knowledge)
Romance (such as dating, kind words, love languages)
Physical Intimacy (such as sexual, touch, physicality)
Logistical Collaboration (such as money, children, life)
Through talk therapy, live role plays, games, and shared couples activities, we help partners learn how to repair hurts, choose more adaptive responses to conflict, and move into a place of compassion.
Couples can leave sessions feeling equipped to handle the obstacles thrown their way. They start by understanding the blueprints to each other’s hearts by learning what trauma land mines they may be walking with to ensure their partners are aware.
Some of the common concerns we explore:
Navigating cross-cultural relationships
“Falling out of love”
Financial disagreements
Love language mismatches
General conflicts
Family conflicts
Changing goals, values, or desires
Life changes or transitions
Infidelity/broken trust
